San Antonio Water System Selects Web-Based Enterprise Resource Software System
Hansen Information Technologies today announced its selection by San Antonio Water System (SAWS) to provide a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Software System (ERSS) as part of a 10-year, $21.1 million contract. As the prime contractor and systems integrator for the project, Hansen will lead a team of public sector experts that include Lawson, Selectron, Hewlett-Packard, and Oracle Corporation. Project implementation will span 28 months, and Blue Heron Consulting will provide quality assurance and oversight assistance throughout this period. "Like any high-performance organization, SAWS is committed to providing outstanding customer service," said SAWS CEO David Chardavoyne. "This information system project will help move us to a new level of operational efficiency. And that can only mean better service and better value for our customers. Now that we've signed the contract, we're ready to dig in and get down to the real work--work that will positively impact every area of our organization and the quality of service we provide."
