•  Buyer is Infor Global

•  Deal valued at $100 Million

Central Valley software maker Hansen Information Technologies is being acquired by Infor Global Solutions of Alpharetta, Ga.

The deal between the two privately held companies is reportedly worth $100 million.

Hansen, which is based in Rancho cordova, employs about 350 workers. It sells software to local governments.

"Hansen provides software that is built for the unique needs of state and local government. Following the close of this transaction, Infor will provide a complete offering of government-specific solutions from a vendor that has the size and scale to be a long-term strategic partner," says Jim Schaper, chairman and CEO of Infor in written comments.

Hansen's applications help manage the daily operations of government such as building permits, licensing, code enforcement and other tasks.

Hansen says it has 470 customers globally and serves government entities in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the U.K. Product overlap with Info is minimal, Hansen says.

Hansen is a portfolio company of Golden Gate Capital, a $3.4 billion private equity firm based in San Francisco.
