Hansen 8 Programmer Wins Oracle Magazine's .NET Developer of the Year

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hansen Information Technologies (Hansen®), a leading provider of enterprise applications for the public sector market, today announced that Lead Engineer/System Architect Linda Leong has been recognized as the "Oracle Magazine 2006 .NET Developer of the Year" for her work on Hansen 8--the leading suite of Web-based enterprise applications designed specifically to manage the transactions of government. Leong was presented with the award at Hansen's 20th Annual International User Group Conference, NETWORK 2006, in Squaw Valley, California by Oracle ISV Account Manager Jenny Dedo and Hansen Chief Technology Officer Russell Gainford. Hansen is a member of the Oracle® PartnerNetwork.

Hansen recently teamed with Oracle and other public sector experts in August 2006 to win a $21.1 million contract with the San Antonio Water System (SAWS). SAWS will deploy Hansen 8 Enterprise Asset Management, CIS Billing, and Building Permit applications.

Leong has been a developer with Hansen since 1994 and has worked on a wide variety of Hansen application development projects beginning with Hansen's early Infrastructure Management System. In her current role as System Architect/Lead Engineer, Leong is responsible for directing other Hansen developers in the continual advancement of the Hansen 8 product suite. Leong collects, prioritizes, and implements system feature upgrades recommended by internal sources, Hansen partners, and customers. She also investigates new technologies in order to keep Hansen 8 on the cutting edge of enterprise management applications.
