Rancho Cordova, CA, February 06, 2006 - Hansen Information Technologies (Hansen®) today announced a strategic alliance with Agresso Americas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unit 4 Agresso N.V., to offer a 100% browser-based ‘one-stop’ Government ERP solution. In response to demands for a government-focused ERP solution, Hansen Financials combines Europe’s leading government financial solution, with Hansen’s world class revenue, operations, and asset valuation applications, to deliver an enterprise-level solution utilizing a service-oriented architecture (SOA) that is 100% browser-based.
“Hansen is changing the standard of what governments expect from an enterprise software provider,” said Chuck Hansen, Hansen’s Chairman and CEO. “By integrating citizen-centric financial transactions to support the asset-intensive nature of government, we are filling a void for customers that want a single source for all of their industry-specific enterprise applications. Our dramatic increase in new customer orders is proof that our products are unrivaled, our industry knowledge is deep, and our model is working.”
“This agreement is another important step in a series of premium-level alliances and commitments that Unit 4 Agresso is making in the North American market,” states Chris Ouwinga, Chief Executive Officer of Unit 4 Agresso. “Our partnership delivers a new level of management tool to help government officials balance their budgets. More and more world class governments are increasingly looking to the Finance Department to help deliver key information to greatly enhance citizen service delivery and help elected officials make better decisions. Our respective track records working with some of the world’s leading governments ensures us that we will help our customer realize their vision for safeguarding their constituents and growing their oftentimes diverse communities.”
