RANCHO CORDOVA, California - November 8, 2005 - Hansen Information Technologies (Hansen®) today announced that it was selected to provide a comprehensive enterprise asset management solution for the City of Vancouver, Washington. The new solution will complement Hansen's Utility Billing system currently being implemented. Hansen will license its Building/Plant/Fleet, Parks, Sewer, Storm, Street and Water asset management modules, as well as Hansen Mobile Solutions, Pavement Management, Visual Resource Manager, Advanced Inventory Control, GeoAdministrator and Integrated Map Viewer.

"We are excited to provide Vancouver with another work management tool to help manage the City's assets," said Chuck Hansen, Chairman and CEO of Hansen Information Technologies.

In 2004, the City of Vancouver began implementation of Hansen's Utility Billing to manage billings and customer service of their City's population of 155,000. "When we became aware of Hansen's ability to manage large volumes of data, we decided the next logical step would be to add their asset management," said Richard Hoffman, Operations Superintendent, Streets Department. "With Hansen's enterprise solutions, we know we can save time and money."

According to the City's 2004 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, for the period ending December 31, 2004, the City valued its capital assets at $593.8 million, representing 72% of the City's total assets. Together with the installation of our utility billing system and account receivable module, Hansen is pleased to be managing over 75% of the City's municipal assets," commented Chuck Hansen.

Currently, Hansen is assisting the City of Vancouver, Washington in integrating to their Oracle Financials and Payroll system to provide a seamless operation, saving time by eliminating duplication. Hansen's Asset Management module will integrate directly with payroll. Project technical lead Rich McKee, from the City of Vancouver's Information Technology Department, expressed a growing opinion among agencies: "We want to capture Hansen's agency-wide vision so all of our departments can benefit from a streamlined process. Today, we all have to do more with less and Hansen can make that possible."

"Our goal is to make government business efficient and cost-effective," said Chuck Hansen.
